How to write an informal letter

Letter writing is an art which is used to communicate with others. In today's world letter writing is dying away because of the extensive use of  mobile phones and internet. However it has not lost its flavour yet. You are used to formal letters as it is a part of our professional life but not at home with the art of informal letters. So here i will share with you my knowledge about writing informal letters.

Informal letters are unofficial letters and are written to family, friends or relatives. It is basically written to convey your personal feelings and emotions. I will try to provide you an  informal letter format for your better understanding.

Informal letters are written to convey emotions and so dashing words are not needed to impress the recipient. It is better if we keep it simple. The only thing is that we use the proper way to convey our emotions.Letter to a mother, a friend and anyone close to you can be examples of informal letter.

While writing an informal letter it is not necessary to maintain a strict format but few things are necessary to put in such as: the writer's name, the writer's address and the date. Mentioning these three things are necessary in order to avoid misunderstandings.
